WHat we do

Apart from providing our members with a well-rounded finance education and career guidance, we pride ourselves in hosting frequent social events to create lifelong bonds amongst our members. Through our intensive training program, members learn about various investing methods, fundamental analysis, and financial modeling. Our seven sectors meet bi-weekly throughout the school year to analyze different companies, discuss M&A activity, and present a thoroughly-researched stock pitch followed by a club-wide dialogue discussing the investment. To support the broader UCLA student community, BAM also frequently hosts info sessions and case competitions in partnership with well-known firms such as UBS, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley.

Who we are

Bruin Asset Management (BAM) is UCLA’s oldest undergraduate finance organization - established in 2014 by a small group of young investors, it now features an alumni presence all around the globe. BAM fosters balanced individuals who thrive in both professional and social settings. We encourage diversity of thought and reward individual ideas, but we work together as a team to bring them to life. Though our vast alumni network extends to the apex of multiple industries around the world, BAM’s tight-knit community is possible because our generous alumni remain engaged with the development of its current and future members.
